Before joining Infire Forensic, Peter was employed by Devon Fire and Rescue Service as a Divisional Fie Officer. He retired from this post after 30 years service and was part of a team of officers carrying out investigations into the cause of fires for the last 20 years of his career. The role he adopted at any incident varied from Incident Commander to specialist Fire Investigator, depending on the size and complexity of the fire and the availability of other officers.
To enable our clients to be aware of their expenditure and assist them in deciding if their losses are worth pursuing, we are happy to negotiate either a fixed fee or an hourly rate, whichever suits.
1. Small to Medium Fires
Most investigations can be completed within 10 hours and would include a site visit, some research, photographs and a comprehensive report.
2. Larger more Protracted Investigations
For larger incidents that may reuire a lengthy investigation or more than one investigator, a contract can be provided and agreed. This may include any overnight hotel expenses and flight costs if required. These can be negotiated and agreed at the time the instructions are given and will require a deposit.
